One glance into his Blackberry and you can tell that Blake Miller is a man who doesn't get much sleep. As the lead vocalist for the band Moving Units Blake has showcased his singing, songwriting, and production talents for the world with their album and EP releases 'Dangerous Dreams', ‘Hexes For Exes’, and ‘Tension War’. These well-received albums afforded Blake and Moving Units the opportunity to tour the world with legendary bands such as Blur, Nine Inch Nails, and the Pixies, and most recently the band played the main stage at the Coachella music festival in 2011. Blake has also lent his vocal talents to other artists’ projects including a track on the latest album from rock/rap duo The Knux and a guest spot on the upcoming album from electro duo Cold Blank.

Never content to limit himself to just one project, Blake spends his time producing music for several other projects as well. In 2008 Blake teamed up with Dim Mak head-honcho Steve Aoki to create the duo Weird Science. The pair released a successful track ‘Haus of Cards’ on Dim Mak as well as official remixes for Bloc Party, Peaches, and Metro Station. Blake also released an original track and remixes for Toxic Avenger and Partyshank under his Lies in Disguise moniker with Le Castle Vania. Currently Blake is producing and singing on tunes for his solo project and has several new originals and remixes on the way that are slated for release on Dim Mak Records and Burn the Fire in mid 2012.

Topping it all off Blake has also made quite a name for himself as a DJ. He has shared the stage alongside the likes of MSTRKRFT, Diplo, A-Trak, Simian Mobile Disco, the Ed Banger Crew, Mustard Pimp, PeaceTreaty, Kid Sister, The xx, The Rapture, and many more. His high-energy sets combine heavy electro bangers with massive hooks that infect everyone to the point of
uncontrollable dancing, including him.

Due to an abundance of creativity and an inability to sit still, Blake’s future holds many exciting projects in store for our listening pleasure. One thing is for sure; he certainly doesn’t have much time scheduled for sleeping anytime soon.
